Useful tips
And what is your skin type? First, let’s find out, what type your skin belongs to?
- Normal skin – Normal skin has a pink hue, it is soft, smooth, clean, elastic. It looks fresh, almost has no shine, no red marks or inflammation, blackheads, acne or pimples. Does not stretch or peel while washing with soap. There’s an opinion that normal skin does not need care, but that’s not true. Exfoliation of skin sebum decreases with age and skin becomes dehydrated. Over time it may become drier or oilier. So, if you are lucky to have a normal skin, take care of it properly. Masks are very important for additional care.
- Dry skin – Unlike normal skin dry skin is almost never found among children and teenagers, except in rare cases. Dry skin has pinkish-yellow hue, it is thin, soft, has small pores, and has a tendency to peel. It looks healthy when you’re young, no oily shine, no wrinkles, no pimples or acne. But it has many disadvantages: Small wrinkles or deep fold easily appear on it. Dry skin reacts painfully when washed with the wrong soap, after which there is a feeling of tightness. Redness and scaling may be seen in cold and windy weather. This type of skin requires a special and careful care, but since it is mostly sensitive it can react very sharply to improperly selected care products. Dry skin tends to age more faster, so it needs constant hydration. It is very important not to overdo it here. It is not necessary to use oily and heavy creams, the skin gets used to it very quickly, ceasing to self-moisturizing and producing fat. It is better to use light moisturizers.
- Oily skin – Oily skin occurs mostly among young people, during puberty and about 10% of adults. It is shiny and oily. More often occurs in the central parts of face (forehead, nose, chin.). Oily skin has wide pores, often covered in rash. This is the most problematic skin type and often becomes a serious concern among young people. On oily skin often appear different calluses and pustules. There are black spots on the nose and chin, the face looks rough and dirty. But it also has positive aspects, excess sebum protects the skin from drying, it remains smooth and elastic as long as possible. People with oily skin show wrinkles and other signs of aging much later than others. Try this simple test. In the morning, before washing, completely cover the face with a tissue and press slightly. If the marks on the napkin appeared in the central part, in the areas adjacent to the forehead, nose, chin, respectively, then your skin is rather mixed, combined. And if there are similar marks in the areas adjacent to the cheeks, then it is oily. In this case, you need masks for oily and problematic skin. Combination skin Combination, or as they say mixed skin, includes two types. It is dry or sometimes even normal skin in the cheek area and oilier in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin).
